Floral Prints and Kate Spade

photo 1
Today is one of those days where I don’t feel comfortable unless if I’m in a nice loose dress. This dress from Forever 21, reminds me of the oh so popular Brandy Melville dress, but for half the price.

photo 2
Since today is all about comfort, I kept the accessories minimal by only wearing my gold Michael Kors watch. I also decided to tote around my very lovely Kate Spade backback, purses are so over rated.

photo 3

Surprise! This dress is backless, I don’t know what it is, but this summer I am loving anything with a low cut back. It’s perfect to show off my Victoria Secret lace strappy bra.

Even though winter has passed, it’s never too late for these Guess booties.

POP of Red

photo 1

Hello Dolls! Let’s jump start our summer with a really pretty neutral sage  colored jumpsuit by Cloth & Stone. I got this lovely number for half the price at TJ Max (similar one here)

photo 3
I love this jumpsuit because of the open back, perfect for a sunny day in south florida.

photo 4
When wearing neutrals, I love adding a pop of color using accessories. I purchased my red gold combo all at Nordstroms.

Paired with wedges that are Steve Madden, and you have a perfect outfit for a casual lunch or dinner. How do you guys pop your color?

Shoes are from Jessica Simpson line. What are you guys think about all black during the summer? It’s a little wacky but super rad in all black.

Fringe-Fest |Sunfest2014

photo 1
Yesterday was the last day of Sunfest, which is Florida’s largest waterfront music and art festival. Held annually in downtown West Palm Beach, Florida. I wore this fringe combo that is perfect for a hot day of walking around.

Facetune
I kept my outfit pretty basic with lace shorts from Urban and a fringe top from Forever21. What do you guys think about fringe and lace together?

photo 2

Instead of a purse I find having a backpack is much more easier/practical for a festival, I thrift this leather backpack from my sisters closet. LOL

photo 4

For accessories, you guessed it are all from Forever21

photo 5

These are no Chanel espadrilles, but they are supper cute and affordable. I got these from H&M and surprisingly they are comfortable. I was walking all day in the hot sun and I am blisters free my friends.

I had so much fun with my girls this year at Sunfest, can’t wait for next year! What are some of your favorite trends for summer festivals?

XOXO

Hair so big it’s full of secrets Shhh!!!

image_1

Hello my dolls! It’s been a while since my last post. I apologize, but I’m back and I have to share a significant change in my life. I recently just got hair extensions! I want to blog about them because they are not your ordinary clip-on extensions. They are tape-ins, made by Hotheads Hair Extensions . What they make such a thing?? Yes and warning they are addicting and I do not know what I was doing before them.

Check out my Before & After :

image

As your guys know I am growing out my hair so I wanted something that was going to be less damaging to my natural hair. Hotheads are a no heat, no tools application. You do have to go to the salon to get them put in. I recommend my hair stylist Hailee, she is amazing at matching real hair to the extension hair, you literally can’t tell the difference.

image_6

These hair extensions are reasonably priced too, especially since the durability of these extensions is amazing compared to other extensions. Hotheads can be reapplied up to three times with the durations of 8 to 10 weeks of wear from each application and the hair is supposed to feel and look amazing.

All of this sounds awesome, but there is a downside. There is much work in taking care of your hair extensions so they will last the 8-10 weeks. Side note, there are different types of hair extensions for people with different lifestyles. For example, if you are a low maintenance girl, clip-on extension will be your best bet since you could remove them that night if you wanted to. Where as tap-ins or protein bonds extensions you have to have your stylist remove them.

Some Do’s and Don’t are:

1) Don’t let the extensions air dry or throw them up in a ponytail while the hair is still wet. This will cause for the extensions to pull and slip out way before the 8-10 weeks.

2) Don’t use conditioner on your roots because this will cause slippage, as well.

3) Do blow out your hair after each wash

4) Do use conditioner and leave in on the ends of your hair for the extensions are dead hair therefore they need more nourishment than normal (just be careful on letting the conditioner touching the tape)

I think I covered everything about these extensions, it’s a lot of information to take in. If you have any questions let me know in the comment below!

Good evening dolls!

Error this post is not a fashion post because today was laundry day and I didn’t want to go another week without posting. My goal is to post about once a week, so this week I’m in my sweats.

My outfit in a nutshell is this daisy crop top, A&F sweatpants, this really cute headband that I just ordered from Charlotte Russe, and finally my Jack Rogers. Not the most fashionable but defiantly comfy cute. Yes, this is how I run around town doing errands LOL

So how do you deal with laundry day?

The Wild Wild Chanel

Hello dolls!

This weeks post is a little different because I want to talk about Chanel’s “Paris-Dallas” collection, shown on December 10th at Dallas Fair Park. I am completely inspired by Chanel’s collection “Paris-Dallas 2013/14 Metiers D’art” I get a 1900’s meets the 21st century vibe, almost as if an old cowboy movie were the inspiration for this collection.

I am in love with the CC feathers and the costume jewelry that goes with each outfit. What stood out the most for me are the accessories and beauty department for this collection. From “hair bows” to gold shimmer on the face. I give it 5 stars *****

Check out the rest of the collection at Chanel’s website . Here are some of my favorite photos from the show.

6D Hair Ties

Howdy everyone! How were your holidays?

It is a new year and that means new beginnings. This year, I want to concentrate on something simple and that is to keep my hair healthy. I’ve been trying to grow out my hair for years now, but because of breakage it has been hard to do so.  If ones hair has breakage, you are well aware of how hard it is to grow out your hair. Wondering on how I am going to attempt this.

Here is a list of things 3 problems that can be damaging to the hair:  thermally, chemically, and physically. Thermal and chemical are commonly known as, too much heat tools and too much bleaching or coloring the hair. Physically, what does that mean? Literally means physical breakage by aggressive combing and using rubber bands to keep  hair pulled up.

So this year I am going to cut back on the thermal tools and over highlighting my hair 😦 A couple post back I talked about a company called 6Dhairties. [Click here to see post] Wah La! These hair ties are the answer to prevent further damage to hair from rubber bands. These hair ties are not only fashionable on your wrist but non-damaging and non-bending to the hair, as well.

I finally got my hair ties in, and they are so adorbs! Check them out!
